About Nancy
Like many of you, I have been a caregiver in a variety of situations. I cared for a young stepson, our preemie son, and a foster child. I helped with needs for my grandparents and was a primary caregiver for my aging parents.
I have experienced the joy of caregiving and have also struggled with all the emotions. I was a caregiver to my mom when she was diagnosed with cancer, and to my dad when he struggled with dementia. When my parents passed away, I was relieved their suffering had ended, yet I was sad knowing I would never see them again on this earth.
I offer resources and encouragement to caregivers with grace and hope.
In addition I write and speak about other valuable topics. For example, my family experienced a profound loss in 2023. (See In Memory of Corey.) As a result, I have learned much about grief and loss, and will share parts of my story in hopes of imparting hope to those who mourn.
I am available for presentations to groups, faith communities, companies, and others as travel allows, or virtually. Review topics and samples on my speaking page. I hope to connect with you soon.

Personal
My husband and I live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN area, commonly known as the “Twin Cities.” We raised two sons here, and have one precious grandaughter. We enjoy cruises, train trips, and group travel experiences with groups such as Road Scholar. Now that we are both retired, long road trips provide visits with family and the ability to see more sites.
I love to read and to learn from books, media, or experientially. My faith in God sustains me through the good times and tough times.
